We are a community or Sangha of Tibetan Buddhists in the Portsmouth area of Hampton Roads. Our Name is Palpung Tenpa Yarjay (Flourishing of the Buddha's Teachings). Our main function is to act as a meeting place for those who practice Tibetan Buddhism here in the area, be they new to the Dharma(the Buddha's teachings) or seasoned practitioners.

We meet every Tuesday 7 PM at the Zenya Yoga Studio & Academy Located on 1308 Airline Blvd. (Use the Scott Street entrance, look for the green Jeep) You can contact us on Facebook or at tidewaterkagyu@gmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We are an official member of the Congregation of Palpung centers along with the Richmond sangha in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
